Transparent Dental Aligners

The mobile aligner we practice today is in clear trays, branded as Ordoline. The trays are made of transparent thermoplastic material and are discreetly worn on the teeth. The greatest advantage is the invisibility of the mobile aligner, as well as its effectiveness. Before starting the therapy, a digital plan is created, and based on it, a certain number of trays are provided, which are regularly changed to achieve the desired tooth movement and proper bite.

What are the advantages of Ordoline aligners?

Comfort and Invisibility: These mobile aligners are made of thin plastic material that is almost invisible on the teeth and very comfortable. For this reason, they will not compromise your aesthetics.

Effectiveness: The aligners are very effective and allow for digital monitoring of the therapy and progress.

Easy to remove and replace: The trays can be easily removed before eating or drinking and before brushing teeth, and then put back on.

What does therapy with Ordoline aligners look like?

The process starts with consultations, where the dentist conducts a thorough examination of the mouth, teeth, and jaw and discusses the therapy plan and duration with the patient.

The dentist provides instructions for further necessary examinations such as panoramic diagnostics, taking intraoral digital impressions of the jaw, and photographing the jaw, to determine the diagnosis and digital therapy plan.

Initially, a digital therapy plan is prepared, showing how the desired changes will occur and how much time they need. After approval, a set of trays is made for the patient along with instructions for regular changes.

In orthodontic therapy, the most important are control check-ups to monitor changes and adjust the trays as needed. The patient may feel pain or sensitivity due to the aligner's action, and it is important to follow instructions for food consumption and proper oral hygiene maintenance.

How long does Ordoline orthodontic therapy last?

The duration of the therapy is entirely individual and depends on the case's complexity and desired movements and results. At the start of the therapy, along with the digital plan, the necessary number of trays is determined, which the patient changes approximately every two weeks.

Does it hurt to put on the clear aligner?

The aligner itself does not hurt, as it is gentle on the teeth and gums. However, during the therapy and tooth movement, mild pain or discomfort may occur.

Do I need to be careful about food and drink?

The biggest advantage of the transparent aligner is that you can remove it before eating and drinking and put it back afterwards. This way, you are not restricted in consuming food and drink, and we advise brushing your teeth before putting the aligner back on.

Do I need to wear the transparent aligner all the time during therapy?

Yes! You should wear the transparent aligner, or trays, all the time during the therapy. The only exceptions are during food and drink consumption and brushing teeth. Make sure to store the aligner in a special box to keep it safe.

Can I remove the aligner for special occasions?

You can remove the aligner at any time, but it is important to note that it should be worn without removal, except for eating and drinking. Any other situation and unnecessary removal can compromise the therapy results.
